Porcelain Crowns

Protect damaged teeth with beautiful porcelain crowns. Dr. Goharkhay uses tooth-like porcelain crowns to restore your teeth after the decay has been removed. Crowns are also used to restore chipped teeth, broken teeth, gaps in teeth and other damage. Also called “caps,” porcelain crowns mimic natural-looking teeth in shape and color. Bridges are anchored to existing teeth or crowns on either side of the missing tooth.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction/Tooth Extraction

We make every effort to keep all of your teeth, as it is always the best and preferred solution. However, sometimes extracting a tooth is the first step toward reclaiming your oral health. By extracting a tooth, we can remove a source or potential source of infection and discomfort. Tooth extraction can also provide a solution to problems with tooth spacing and bite function. In Dr. Goharkhay’s expert care, trauma, pain and healing time are minimized. In most cases, your recovery from wisdom tooth extraction will only last a few days. Finally, you’ll have peace of mind knowing you’re no longer at risk for the many problems wisdom teeth can present!

Root Canal Therapy

Damage to the nerve tissue inside of a tooth sometimes requires a root canal procedure. Despite the tales you may have heard regarding the procedure, most root canals are minimally uncomfortable, especially compared to the pain and discomfort you may be feeling before the root canal procedure. Dr. Goharkhay takes advantage of advances in technology and dental techniques that make a root canal more effective while taking less time. A root canal involves removing the soft tissue within the tooth – the pulp – after it has become infected and inflamed. Your dentist gently files the infected tissue out of the root canals of the tooth (this is where the procedure gets its name) and fills the void with an inert material. The procedure is completed with the placement of fillings or in some cases, crowns.
